Mission & Goals
EAE promotes the use of External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). ETICS contribute to the energy-efficiency of new and existing buildings, thus to achieving the objectives of the European Green Deal. Reducing the energy consumption of the building stock enables Europe to: - mitigate climate change - reduce GHG emissions - become less dependent from energy imports - support energy transition from nuclear and fossil energies to renewables by significant - improve the living comfort and health of inhabitants - improve the built environment - support economic growth and job generation In particular EAE follows the following objectives: - Representation of the ETICS sector in bodies dealing with technical specifications, legislative proposals as well as representation of sector’s interests towards institutions of the European Union. - Promotion and elaboration of quality criteria for ETICS both at European and MS level to ensure safety, durability and reliability
