Mission & Goals

The main goals are to raise political and societal awareness for the increasing need for Vision Research and Ophthalmology at European level.

Additional Information

The EU EYE has adopted a membership business model to fund its advocacy activities at EU level and retain independence in its activities. Membership fees are paid annually by each member organisation; the fee is calculated on the basis of number of events organised by each member organisation and number of event participants. The total contribution of membership fees represents 100% of the total income. The budget covers core activities aimed at increasing awareness about research in vision science and ophthalmology and improving eye health in Europe.
