Communication Activities
In April 2024, we published our proposal for a farmer and agroecosystem-centred CAP reform. We organised Regenerating Europe Week, a series of four events during February 4-6, 2025 that brought regenerative farmers to Brussels to share their on-farm experiences and perspectives on national and European policy with 300+ policymakers and representatives from other stakeholder groups. The highlight was the dinner held at the Members Salon in the European Parliament with 80+ attendees including three MEP sponsors and five Heads of Unit from DG AGRI. The events launched the Regenerating European Tour that visited five more EU member states in 2025 and will continue through 2027, and perhaps beyond. A communications campaign supported both the Brussels events and those at member state level. REW will return to Brussels February 4-6, 2026 for its mid-term review with another four events planned. With more than 50 organisations representing a wide group of stakeholders, we published our joint response to the Vision of the Future of Agriculture published by the European Commission for Agriculture and Food, Christophe Hansen. Together with the European Landowners Organisation and One Plant Business for Biodiversity (OP2B), we launched a joint response to the Multiyear Financial Framework Proposal and outlined the financial instruments we felt are required to facilitate the regenerative transition together with the policy frameworks to be leveraged. In June, we published our study marks the beginning of EARA’s ongoing farmer-led research program, which breaks new ground both methodologically and empirically. At its core is a simple yet powerful idea: to measure what Europe’s most pioneering farmers are achieving, across both agricultural and ecological dimensions, using a novel, farmer-centred index called Regenerating Full Productivity (RFP). Designed to be both comprehensive and easy to use, the RFP index offers a new way to understand and track the real-world productivity of agriculture. This first phase of research tests the index in practice, grounding it in the lived success of farmers already leading the transition. On September 21, 2025 we hosted our financial instruments event together with the House of Agroecology at the EESC that brought together 80+ regenerative farmers, civil society members, financial sector executives including the EIB, and policymakers to explore different options for practical solutions that can help farmers transition to regenerative agriculture at scale that go beyond the Common Agriculture Policy. A follow up event is planned in the European Parliament for February 4, 2026.

Organisation Members
The association has just been founded in June 2025 and the board was nominated at the annual farmers gathering in December 2025. The general assembly will meet in February 2026 when the board is approved, and then formal membership of the association will be opened. Before the founding of the association, we were hosted by an NGO incubator, ProjectTogether in Germany. We had a membership process, but no fee. With the association’s founding, those members will become official members of the association following a newly established process. Membership is divided into three categories: farmer members, associate members and partner organisations. Farmer members are active farmers practicing regenerating forms of agriculture who participate in a peer-review application process through the applications committee. Associate members are natural persons who support the mission of the association but do not qualify for farmer membership. Partner organisations are legal persons who support the mission of the association. Both associate members and partner organisations have their own separate processes via the applications committee.
Additional Information
We have only recently started as a stand alone association (19 June 2025) in the Netherlands. Funding was provided to our incubator for our EARA over the years and the remainder of these funding amounts and the costs incurred will mean that expect to receive €450k form our incubator to add to our cash flow. Furthermore we have already €795k of funding committed for 2026. In 2026 we can and gladly will provide the financial close of 2025
