European agri-cooperatives

Mission & Goals

Represent the general and specific interests of European agricultural, forestry, fishing and agri-food cooperatives, and contribute to the development of cooperatives in general; influence political decisions that affect the activities of agricultural cooperatives by lobbying the European Union's public institutions and both European and international organisations; promote the role of agricultural, forestry, fishing and agri-food cooperatives; provide a platform for members to debate political and business-related matters, the added value of agricultural goods, and trade between its members, organisations and cooperatives; seek and promote solutions to important matters of mutual concern; facilitate communication and coordination between its members and between its members' national offices in Brussels and provide services to help cooperatives network; foster exchanges of opinion and debates.
