Mission & Goals

EUROUZ is an international non-commercial organisation representing the European business community in Uzbekistan. It was formed upon the joint initiative of EU companies working and investing in Uzbekistan and the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan. It plays a key role in promoting and nurturing mutual understanding between Uzbekistan and countries of the European Union in the field of economic cooperation and social development. EUROUZ membership includes some of the leading European companies doing business in Uzbekistan. Key Values & Goals: -Promote economic cooperation between Europe and Uzbekistan. -Promote the green transition in Uzbekistan via European technologies and experience. -Support better communication between European business, the Uzbekistan government & the EU organisations guiding the EU policies. -Promote ESG focus among local & European businesses in Uzbekistan. -Support the participation of European businesses in economic development.

Currently, EUROUZ brings together over 170 European, Uzbek and Multinational companies (https://eurouz.com/our-members) to enjoy a wide range of unique benefits: -Representing the views of European business in Uzbekistan through a strong collective voice -Regular information support on developments affecting business in Uzbekistan -Networking opportunities, forums, seminars and social events -Access to EUROUZ database, consisting of over 5000 worldwide contacts -Special offers to international and local exhibitions and conferences EUROUZ Committees are the special meetings of business community representatives divided by fields of interests. Now EUROUZ has 7 committees: -Healthcare & Life Scheinces Committee -HR & Capacity Building Committee -Public Relations & Startegic Communications Committee -ESG Committee -Intellectual Property & Competition Committee -Compliance Committee -Corporate Governance Committee These committees provide an opportunity to discuss the latest industry news, identify problem issues, and develop solutions.

Additional Information

Our engagement in activities covered by the register has been limited, as our core operations are primarily conducted in Uzbekistan. The Brussels office does not maintain any full-time or part-time employees. Instead, engagement in Brussels is carried out through periodic visits, not exceeding once per quarter, with each visit limited to several days. These visits are not exclusively dedicated to activities falling within the scope of the register.
