Mission & Goals
Als europäisches Netzwerk von 70 christlich-sozialen Arbeitnehmerorganisationen aus 30 europäischen Ländern bieten wir werteorientierte Bildung und Forschung für Arbeitnehmervertreter:innen an. Unsere Aufgaben sind die Förderung des sozialen Dialogs, Information über EU-Politiken im Bereich Beschäftigung und Soziales, Weiterbildung von und Erfahrungsaustausch zw. Arbeitnehmerorganisationen, Handlungsempfehlungen für Arbeitnehmerorganisationen zu erarbeiten und die Politik über die Ergebnisse zu informieren. Die Mitglieder von EZA sind davon überzeugt, dass der soziale Dialog zu einem besseren sozialen Zusammenhalt in Europa beitragen und demokratische Prinzipien nachhaltig unterstützen kann.
EU Legislative Interests
1. Umsetzung der 'political guidelines' der EU-Kommission v.a. im Bereich Soziales und Beschäftigung 2. Beobachtung und Unterstützung der Europäischen Säule sozialer Rechte 3. Beteiligung an Konsultationsprozessen, 4. Beschlüsse des Ausschusses "Beschäftigung und soziale Angelegenheiten" des Europäischen Parlamentes, 5. Erweiterung der EU - EU-Beitrittskandidaten, insbesondere Westbalkan, Ukraine
Communication Activities
EZA führt in Kooperation mit seinen Mitgliedern jährlich ca. 70 europäische Weiterbildungsprojekte zu Fragen des Sozialen Dialogs durch. Darüber hinaus veröffentlicht EZA div. Publikationen zu verschiedenen Themen des Sozialen Dialogs: Kompass für Wettberwerbsfähigkeit, Pakt für den europäischen Sozialen Dialog, Digitalisierung/KI, Skills Union, Arbeitsmigration, neue Formen der Arbeit, Chancengleichheit, Industrial Deal, Jugend, Sicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz am Arbeitsplatz ...
