Mission & Goals
The EFA sustainably represents the interests of its members under ecological, economic and social aspects. New future-oriented ideas are realized together and synergies are generated. The EFA offers a strong common basis for this and is active for its members in the following areas: Economic and technical representation of interests towards politics, authorities, the public and the European market Our sustainability concept Ecology CO2-neutral heating Low-pollution combustion Promotion of environmentally sound combustion technologies Economics: Fireplaces with high efficiency Heating with local renewable resources European harmonised standards Social Promotion of individual heating concepts Cost-effective heating for future generations
EU Legislative Interests
Emission reduction for small combustion plants The European Combustion Plants Association supports all measures and initiatives to reduce emissions from small combustion plants at EU-Level. Concrete projects are the BeReal project (completed but renewal is being considered) and the EU Green Deal. Ecodesign Directive
