Mission & Goals
Europa Cinemas empowers a growing network of cinemas to boost the visibility and audience engagement of European films, especially non-national titles. Financial incentives for programming are complemented by innovative and collaborative activities focusing on audience development, training, environmental sustainability, gender balance, accessibility and inclusion. The network accounts for more than 50% of all non-national EU film screenings, making it essential for the circulation and diversity of European works and the sector’s competitiveness.
