Eurokos Holding Sh.p.k. is committed to advancing the development and production of renewable energy in Kosovo and the Western Balkans region. The company currently operates hydroelectric power generation facilities and is in the process of implementing a large-scale wind energy project with a planned capacity of 70 MW. Our core mission is to contribute to a sustainable and energy-independent future by harnessing clean and environmentally responsible energy sources. Through innovation, strategic investment, and regional cooperation, we aim to accelerate the green transition, support national climate objectives, and promote economic development through reliable and renewable power infrastructure.

Eurokos Holding Sh.p.k. aligns its activities with key European Union legislative frameworks in the field of renewable energy and climate action, particularly: The Renewable Energy Directive (EU) 2018/2001, promoting increased use of energy from renewable sources; The European Green Deal, aiming for climate neutrality by 2050; The Regulation on the Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action (EU) 2018/1999, which supports integrated national energy and climate plans; The TEN-E Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2022/869), concerning trans-European energy infrastructure, particularly renewable electricity generation and smart grids; Provisions of the Fit for 55 package, with a focus on decarbonizing the power sector. Communication Activities
Eurokos Holding Sh.p.k. has actively engaged in a range of strategic communication and outreach activities to support EU renewable energy goals and raise awareness on sustainable development. These include: Green Energy Days – A recurring public awareness event held in collaboration with local municipalities and academic institutions, showcasing the benefits of renewable energy through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations of hydro and wind energy models, and expert-led discussions inspired by the EU Green Deal. "Winds of Change" Social Media Campaign – A digital storytelling initiative highlighting the journey of our 70 MW wind energy project, aligning it with the Renewable Energy Directive and Fit for 55 goals. It included infographics, videos, and testimonials from local stakeholders and engineers. Policy Dialogue Roundtables – Participation in policy discussions and working groups involving local authorities, environmental NGOs, and EU representation offices in the Western Balkans, focusing on transposing the Renewable Energy Directive and enhancing regional energy cooperation. Publication of the "Green Horizons Report" – A quarterly report published by the company that analyzes the progress of renewable energy deployment in Kosovo and the Western Balkans in relation to EU targets, providing recommendations and tracking KPIs aligned with EU climate legislation. Educational Outreach Program – Partnership with universities and vocational schools to promote careers in renewable energy and disseminate knowledge on EU energy legislation and climate neutrality objectives. Eurokos Holding Sh.p.k. actively engages with national and regional networks that promote sustainable energy development, innovation, and alignment with EU environmental and energy objectives. In Kosovo, the company is a member of the Kosovo Renewable Energy Association (KREA), contributing to national dialogues on energy transition and grid integration of renewables. Regionally, we collaborate with partners within the Western Balkans Green Energy Platform, focusing on knowledge exchange and cross-border investments in clean energy infrastructure. We also maintain cooperative ties with academic and research institutions, including technical universities and innovation hubs, to foster research in wind and hydropower technologies. In addition, Eurokos Holding participates in roundtables, public consultations, and workshops organized under the auspices of Energy Community Secretariat, enhancing our alignment with EU legislative frameworks and policy dialogues. Through these affiliations, the company contributes to policy shaping, sustainable investment promotion, and the acceleration of the Western Balkans’ energy transition in line with the European Green Deal and REPowerEU goals.

Eurokos Holding Sh.p.k. operates as a dynamic hub for sustainable development and renewable energy innovation. While we are structured as a private company and not a membership-based organization, we maintain a strong ecosystem of affiliated entities, strategic partners, and project collaborators who contribute to and benefit from our activities across the Western Balkans and beyond. Our affiliated entities and collaborators include: Subsidiary Companies & Project SPVs Eurokos Energy Solutions: A dedicated entity managing the implementation and operation of small- and medium-scale hydropower projects. Eurokos Wind Development: A special purpose vehicle (SPV) created for the design, development, and implementation of our 70 MW wind energy project, currently in the permitting and construction preparation phase. Strategic Industry Partners We collaborate with regional and European technology providers, environmental engineers, and grid specialists, including: Renewable energy technology firms based in Germany, Austria, and Denmark. Balkan-based construction and civil engineering firms involved in green infrastructure. Environmental impact assessment (EIA) consultants certified in accordance with EU standards. Academic & Research Institutions Eurokos Holding maintains affiliations with leading technical faculties in Kosovo and the region. These partnerships support research and innovation in renewable energy, digitalization of power systems, and sustainable construction techniques. Local & Regional Community Platforms We actively involve local communities in the areas where we operate through stakeholder engagement forums and benefit-sharing models. Our goal is to ensure inclusive development and long-term sustainability. Partner municipalities and local development agencies support project coordination and community alignment. Eurokos Holding Sh.p.k. is a privately-owned renewable energy company committed to green transition and energy innovation in the Western Balkans. Our team is composed of two full-time professionals, including engineers and project developers, with additional expertise contracted through technical partnerships and EU-funded collaboration frameworks. All involved personnel are salaried directly by the company, with no third-party-funded or volunteer positions during the reporting period. Despite our lean operational structure, we maintain a high level of impact through strategic outsourcing, digital tools, and scalable project design. Most of our outreach, stakeholder coordination, and environmental compliance efforts are supported through in-house capacity and aligned with EU renewable energy standards and reporting practices. Although Eurokos Holding does not receive direct EU institutional funding, we are actively engaged in preparing bankable project proposals that align with EU Green Deal priorities and seek financial synergy with platforms such as the InvestEU Advisory Hub, the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), and national development funds. Our internal costs remain modest while our influence grows through participation in knowledge-sharing forums and energy transition dialogues. This agile approach allows us to maximize innovation per euro invested, while preparing for full alignment with the EU energy acquis and taxonomy framework.
