Mission & Goals
We are an Independent Publishing Company that publishes analyses of the proceedings of the European Council. We also provide a forum for our subscribers to discuss with EU officials, Member State Officials and Independent Experts in off-the-record sessions. This does not represent any specific commercial interest, we have no way of knowing how our hundreds of subscribers use the information they gather from our publications and groups. The setting of the Dialogue Group was inspired by a comment by the former president of the European Council who had expressed that he would welcome the opportunity to discuss policy issues in an informal and off-the-record fashion with major companies and other experts. Organisation of 3 discussion groups: Dialogue Group, Eu Priorities Group and European Strategy Forum. A new conference/ cultural event is being planned for 2027. We do no represent interests, we provide information and organise discussion groups.
EU Legislative Interests
We are particularly interested in the policy discussions and preoccupations of the leaders of the Member States meeting as the European Council with the head of the European Commission and the chairman of the European Council. We do no however represent any interests, personal or commercial.
Communication Activities
Regular Publications analysing EU policy as well as policy discussions in the groups outlined above. We produce a Pre-Summit Briefing 24 hours before each European Council meeting giving the agenda and possible outcomes. We then provide a Post-Summit Briefing of the same Council. First as a video discussion and, within two days, a written paper. Each quarter we also publish a Commentary on one of the current themes discussed by the leaders of the Member States in various combinations.
