Mission & Goals
Euro-BioImaging ERIC is a pan-European research infrastructure offering open access to state-of-the-art technologies, training, and data services for biological and biomedical imaging. The mission of Euro-BioImaging is to empower researchers across country borders and scientific domains and facilitate innovative, world-class research endeavours. Euro-BioImaging shares knowledge and expertise related to imaging methods and technologies and promotes education, training opportunities and FAIR data management services for both users and service providers. Lastly, Euro-BioImaging offers various opportunities for researchers in all career stages, such as travel grants to attend conferences and training courses, and other support. Euro-BioImaging provides i) physical access to more than 120 cutting-edge technologies across 295 excellent research facilities in 18 countries and ii) virtual access to image data services, including repositories for reference image datasets for sharing and re-use.

EU Missions: Adaptation to Climate Change, Cancer, Restoring our Oceans and Waters, A Soil Deal for Europe. Additionally, through initiatives such as the ISIDORe project (https://isidore-project.eu/), Euro-BioImaging participates in the EU readiness for pandemics.
