Mission & Goals
The foundation aims, mainly as a thinktank, to enhance the power of human beings in their role of citizen in healthcare and welfare, on all levels, locally, regionally, provincially, on a national level and on the level of the EU and Europe.
EU Legislative Interests
For the moment the Foundation is only invited, to participate in the EU Health Policy Platform and the Thematic network on Healthcare in Cross Border Regions. The Foundation is connected to euprevent.eu a organisation, active in the Euregion Maas Rijn, which from the first of 2025 has stopped, unfortunately. The Foundation is member of the Network: ACN; http://www.activecitizenship.net This organisation is Rome based, Italy. Through the work of ACN EPECS indirectly is involved in health care policies, including the fight against AMR (Acquiered Microbiolocal Resistence), the Euroepean Patient Health day on the 18th of April and the Crossborder directive. On request of ACN we invited Dutch politician to participate in sessions, held in advance of the European elections, among them Jeroen Lenaers on the 9th of april in Brussels, hosted by an Italian EU parlement member. The foundation is included in two projects: the SHEproject and a Common Ground project from the Robert Bosch Stiftung and last year in the Covid19 project, to organise Citizensummits. See website Euprevent.eu and website Epecs.eu
Communication Activities
The Foundation published a document for the RHN WHO conference in June 2019, held in the Euregion MaasRijn, composed of input of citizens in the Euregion Maas Rijn. Included the link. https://euprevent.eu/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/digital-version-Final-Report-Citizen-Summit.pdf Again, we want to emphasise that the Foundation is small and works on a voluntary basis. Willing to offer you more information on request.
