Mission & Goals
EUMEPS is the Association of European Manufacturers of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), covering insulation and packaging producers. EUMEPS represents their interests. EUMEPS members are the national EPS associations and individual companies. Thus, EUMEPS membership indirectly employs about 80.000 people across Europe, mainly with SME companies. EUMEPS does scientific research into the fields of energy efficiency in buildings, sustainable construction and packaging to contribute to the European debate on behalf of the members. EUMEPS is active at EU level to advocate the benefits of energy efficiency in buildings. EUMEPS also works at international level to help set-up an effective framework for recycling of EPS foam and to exchange information on the benefits of energy efficiency of buildings.
