Communication Activities
Etsy continues to engage with EU institutional stakeholders through direct meetings, exchanges via relevant trade associations, policy discussions, and written contributions related to VAT and customs, ESG, platform regulation, consumer protection, and payments regulation. These activities aimed to highlight the specific needs of Etsy’s seller community, which largely consists of microbusinesses and sole entrepreneurs, often operating from their own homes, and to advocate for proportionate and workable regulatory approaches that support small creative businesses’ participation in the EU single market.
