Mission & Goals
Etlas™ is a new bioenergy company formed in 2025 as a 50:50 joint venture between Corteva Inc. and bp. Etlas connects farming with sustainable energy production by converting cover crops — such as canola, mustard, and sunflower — into feedstock for the production of SAF and renewable diesel (RD). Etlas leverages Corteva’s century-long expertise in seed technology and bp’s leadership in refining and marketing fuels for the commercial transportation market. Initial supply is scheduled to begin in 2027, serving both co-processing at refineries and dedicated biofuels plants in the Americas and Europe.
