Mission & Goals
ESNA has as main strategic objective the creation of conditions of excellence for accelerating the European entrepreneurship, particularly through the development of favourable conditions for the creation, growth, investment and financing of the European startup ecosystem. ESNA supports the implementation of best practices by Member States, that enable quick and cost-effective startup formation, streamlined visa processes for international talents, and optimized tax conditions for stock options. These measures aim to reduce fragmentation among Member States and enhance the cohesion of the European Digital Market, thereby supporting startups in scaling and competing globally. By promoting the adoption of the Startup Nations Standards of Excellence by Member States, ESNA strengthens the European startup ecosystem's global position and continually benchmarks and develops new best practices.
