Mission & Goals
The objective of the Association is to promote, support and accelerate the deployment process of the European Rail Traffic Management (ERTMS) and the European Train Control System (ETCS) from the point of view of the testing and validation, as well as from the research community.

Exchange with European Commission with respect to testing and validation of train control and signalling systems.

Additional Information
The EAL itself has no staff. All persons working for EAL are directly paid by the members of EAL. EAL did not recieve EU grants in 2021 or 2022 or 2023 or 2024, but some of the members did. The representation in Brussels is done by staff members of one of the members representation in Brussels.
