Communication Activities
Our members have a keen interest in supporting the European Commission and the European Parliament to build understanding of how home equity release solutions can play a key role in ensuring fiscal and financial sustainability in view of Europe's ageing population as set out in the Green Paper of January 2021. A number of our members also supported the latest European Commission co-funded project to explore solutions which include housing wealth, namely 'Promoting the contribution of private savings to pension adequacy: Integrating residential property with private pensions in the EU', which was led by iff in cooperation with Rostock University (UROS), Andrássy University (AUB), Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT), Technical University of Delft (TUD), The Libera Università Maria Ss.
