Mission & Goals
We are an AI consultancy firm focusing primarily on AI for scientific R&D. Currently we are mainly active in life and material sciences. We are currently participating in a Horizon project to develop AI for green steel characterization (AID4GREENEST) and have previously created free learning materials through the European Social Fund with the free online course "AI for Materials industry". Our goals are to participate in diverse R&D projects and advance the usage of AI, making applications more robust using uncertainty measures and explainable AI combined with expert knowledge. We believe helping people make informed decisions about AI is essential to its safe adoption and continued usage and by developing AI applications in european R&D programs we inevitably come into contact with policy.
EU Legislative Interests
We are interested in policies related to AI and related computational and scientific R&D.
Communication Activities
We are participating in the AID4GREENEST Horizon program and participated in a brainstorm session on virtual worlds. AID4GREENEST is part of the resilience call. We are active in dissemination activities for our project. We have listened to introduction on the AI act at Flanders AI Forum in Belgium. We are trying to register for the AI act through this form, though are aware given the deadlines it may not be approved in a timely fashion. Through AID4GREENEST we may interact with scientific bodies such as the EMMC. We have given feedback on the AI code of conduct.
