Mission & Goals
The International EPD® system is administered by EPD International AB in Sweden and is applicable to organizations around the world who want to report their products' environmental information in a credible and transparent way. EPD stands for Environmental Product Declaration or Environmental Product Declaration. In an environmental product declaration, the environmental impact of a product, either a product or a service, is reported over its entire life cycle. The international standard for EPD (14025) is mainly designed to be applied in the procurement area, among other things for construction products, but also product areas such as food, energy, furnishing, hygiene products, etc.
