Mission & Goals
As a public energy company set up by the Dutch Ministry of Climate and Green Growth, Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) represents the Dutch State’s economic interests in subsurface resources in the Netherlands. Our focus areas include energy exploration and production , the transition towards climate-neutral gases, projects for the extraction and use of geothermal energy and the development of heat networks. In addition, we have a filling obligation for Dutch gas storages and are involved in CO2 storage and transport projects.
