Mission & Goals

ENERCLUSTER is a non-profit business cluster that represents and supports companies and stakeholders active in the renewable energy and energy transition sectors. Its mandate is to promote innovation, competitiveness and sustainable growth of its members by fostering collaboration between industry, research centres, public authorities and other relevant actors. The organisation aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, support participation in research, innovation and industrial projects, and contribute to the development and implementation of policies related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, decarbonisation and sustainable industrial development. ENERCLUSTER acts as a platform to convey the views and expertise of its members to public authorities and European institutions, in particular in the context of EU energy, climate and industrial policies, while promoting alignment with EU objectives such as the Green Deal and the energy transition.

EU Legislative Interests

ENERCLUSTER follows and contributes, where appropriate, to EU policies and initiatives related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, decarbonisation and sustainable industrial development. In particular, the organisation is interested in EU energy and climate policies such as the European Green Deal, the Fit for 55 package, renewable energy and energy efficiency legislation, industrial and innovation policies, research and innovation programmes (including Horizon Europe), and measures supporting the competitiveness of the renewable energy sector and regional industrial ecosystems.

Communication Activities

Activities related to European Union policies include participation in public consultations, attendance at conferences and events, organisation of workshops and information sessions, preparation of position papers or contributions reflecting the views of the members, and dissemination of information on European Union policies and funding opportunities relevant to the renewable energy and energy transition sectors. These activities are carried out in a transparent manner and aim to inform and contribute to policy discussions within the scope of the mandate of the organisation.

Member Of

ENERCLUSTER is a private non-profit business cluster bringing together companies and organisations active along the renewable energy value chain. The organisation is a member of several sectoral and cluster associations, including the Spanish Wind Energy Association (AEE), the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF), WindEurope, and the Spanish Energy Storage Association (AEPIBAL). At national and regional level, ENERCLUSTER is also part of interregional cluster alliances and collaborates with the regional innovation ecosystem, including the Navarra Research, Development and Innovation System (SINAI).

Organisation Members

ENERCLUSTER brings together more than 100 member companies and organisations active across the renewable energy value chain. Its members include large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, research and technology centres, and other stakeholders involved in renewable energy, energy transition, innovation and industrial development. The membership covers a wide range of activities, including wind energy, solar photovoltaic, energy storage, engineering, manufacturing, services, research and innovation. ENERCLUSTER represents the collective interests of its members. Additional Information

The estimated costs include the gross annual salary of the Managing Director and the corresponding employer social security contributions, allocated proportionally (approximately 25%) to activities covered by the Transparency Register, as well as limited related travel and participation costs. The figures are based on the last closed financial year and are provided as estimates.
