Mission & Goals
Founded in 1916, the Endocrine Society is the world's oldest, largest, and most active organization devoted to research on hormones and the clinical practice of endocrinology. The Society works to foster a greater understanding of endocrinology among the general public and practitioners of complementary medical disciplines, and to promote the interests of all endocrinologists at the international and national scientific research and health policy levels of government.
EU Legislative Interests
The Endocrine Society is following developments related to the EU Strategy on Endocrine Disrupters as well as any reports or follow-up events. We are closely following updates to REACH and CLP.
Communication Activities
The Endocrine Society is interested in engaging on any projects, events, and publications relevant to endocrine disrupting chemicals. We also have a seat at the High-Level Roundtable on the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability.
