Mission & Goals
Hapo is a recognized Aquaculture Producer Organization, under the CMO regulation. Hapo's objective is the promotion of the sustainable development of aquaculture in Greece.
EU Legislative Interests
Any regulatory initiative affecting directly or indirectly the operation and performance of aquaculture companies (EG, environmental performance, fish health and welfare, food security, consumer information and any other initiative related to the implementation of the strategic guidelines for aquaculture). For example: - revision of the CFP regulation - revision of the CMO regulation - midterm evaluation of the strategic guidelines of aquaculture - midterm evaluation of the EMFAF
Communication Activities
Hapo participates actively and provides feedback to surveys, consultation and questionnaires issued from the relevant DGs of the EC.
