Communication Activities
Elias Neocleous & Co LLC has engaged in communication activities relating to the above EU legislative files through participation in EU-funded projects under Horizon Europe and the Digital Europe Programme, stakeholder workshops, conferences, policy discussions, and dissemination events concerning cybersecurity, digital regulation and emerging technologies. Representatives of the firm have participated in project consortium meetings and public events involving European Commission representatives, EU agencies, industry stakeholders and policymakers in relation to the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation, Directive on measures for a high common level of cybersecurity across the Union, Regulation on digital operational resilience for the financial sector, Regulation on horizontal cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements, and Regulation laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence. Activities have included speaking at conferences, participating in implementation discussions, contributing to regulatory consultations, preparing legal and policy analyses within EU-funded initiatives, and engaging with stakeholders on the practical market impact of new EU digital legislation.
