Mission & Goals
Mobility for more liveable urban spaces EIT Urban Mobility is dedicated to accelerating solutions that improve our collective use of urban spaces, while ensuring accessible, convenient, safe, efficient, sustainable and affordable multimodal mobility. EIT Urban Mobility’s objective is to rethink urban spaces, overcoming fragmentation by integrating all urban mobility players – including cities and citizens – and increasing social inclusion and equality. By accelerating the products, services and processes for cities, EIT Urban Mobility will reimagine collective and individual mobility, shaping it according to local needs, supporting communities and stimulating the economy.
EU Legislative Interests
EIT Urban Mobility engages with EU policy initiatives related to innovation, sustainable urban mobility, startup and scale-up ecosystems, skills development and EU research and innovation funding. Its activities focus on policies in the area of planning, management and operation of urban transport systems as well as the regulatory and financial framework enabling European startups and SMEs to develop, scale and deploy relevant mobility solutions successfully. Communication Activities
In March 2026 we will organise our Community Days in Copenhagen, bringing together relevant network partners to deploy urban mobility solutions. In September 2026 we will participate in the European Commission Campaign ''European Mobility Week''. In November 2026 we will organise our flagship annual event, Tomorrow Mobility World Congress in Barcelona.
