Mission & Goals
We are a youth and female-led NGO. We combine advocacy, education, and capacity building to transform awareness into action and ideas into impact. Our activities span from citizen lobbying and education on youth leadership, SRHR, gender equality, LGBTIQA+ rights, intergenerational fairness and democracy. We work for the common good through civic, social, educational, and cultural initiatives. Our mission Promote and protect human, civil, social, and political rights Stand against prejudice, discrimination, and violence Empower citizens through advocacy, education, and culture Advance gender equality, youth leadership, LGBTIQA+ rights, and health (sexual, reproductive, mental) Foster dignity, justice, non-violence, and peace in line with the UN 2030 Agenda
EU Legislative Interests
Eduxo, leveraging its multifaceted activities and overarching objectives outlined earlier, actively engages with main EU legislative proposals and policies. The organization operates at the intersection of various societal issues, promoting human rights, social inclusion, education, and cultural development. Within the European Union, Eduxo advocates for policies to foster equality, combat discrimination, and promote social justice. It actively participates in discussions surrounding legislative initiatives concerning education, human rights protection, environmental sustainability, youth participation and citizen empowerment. Eduxo's involvement in EU legislative processes aligns with its commitment to advocating for a fairer, more inclusive society within Italy and across European borders. Through its campaigns, partnerships, and advocacy efforts, Eduxo endeavours to influence EU policies to reflect its values and goals, ultimately contributing to positive societal change on a broader scale. - Parliamentary democracy, What the EU does for you, putting the EU near the citizens, Europe Day, Petitions and Citizens proposals, Participative democracy and citizens’ panels, including the European citizens’ initiative - Youth participation in Politics and the EU decision-making processes.
