As the European branch of Ecoplast Brasil, it builds on over 20 years of expertise in recycling and sustainable manufacturing. Ecoplast Europe contributes to sustainable public procurement by providing environmentally responsible solutions for governments, schools, and businesses, while also supporting social inclusion through accessible product design. EU Legislative Interests

Ecoplast Europe LTD is a Belgian company incorporated in March 2025. It has formal founding links with the Brazilian company Ecoplast Industria e Comércio de Reciclados LTDA, which was one of the founding entities involved in the incorporation of Ecoplast Europe LTD. Ecoplast Europe LTD is a distinct legal entity under Belgian law and cooperates strategically with the Brazilian company in the field of sustainable manufacturing, recycling and circular-economy products. For the sake of accuracy, references to the broader “Ecoplast” structure should be understood in a commercial and operational sense, and not as referring to a formally consolidated multinational group structure in the strict legal sense. Ecoplast Europe LTD is engaged with international business and sustainability networks, including the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for Africa Caribbean Pacific. Regarding environmental certification, Ecoplast Industria e Comércio de Reciclados LTDA is not itself a member of the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN). However, it holds certification under the ABNT Environmental Labelling Programme in Brazil. ABNT is a member of GEN. Accordingly, Ecoplast Brasil’s products are certified under a programme operated by a GEN member organisation.
