Mission & Goals
Ecocem is a leading provider of high performance low carbon cement technologies in Europe. It has been operating for 25 years and its modus operandi has been to provide Ground Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) to the construction industry as an alternative to traditional cement. Ecocem has provided Europe's lowest carbon cement used at scale and is provides low carbon solutions to many of Europe's largest projects. Through its highly successful innovation programme, Ecocem’s breakthrough ACT technology is a next-generation, scalable, cost-effective, low-carbon cement technology that delivers up to a 70% reduction in CO2. Ecocem is engaging with the EU to explain the benefits of accelerating deployment and scalability of ACT across the EU and address the current standards roadblocks to market deployment.
