Mission & Goals
Dynamo is a commercial federation of European based and controlled cloud service providers. We create a concrete European alternative to cloud, through a virtual single provider extending and enhancing each participant in a non competitive, B2B2C, platform creating a common pool of resources that can compare to the non-European dominant players in size, resource capacity, spread of catalog, territory reach, and quality of services to compete and win, at European and global level, reducing the dependence from the non-European cloud hegemony. Dynamo is the catalyst for collaboration, trust, and innovation among European Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), paving the way for a resilient and competitive European digital economy.
EU Legislative Interests
The full European Digital Regulation, with particular attention to the Data Act, the Data Governance Act, the AI Act and all Digital Sovereignty related political and regulation initiatives undertaken by the EU. Different from NGO and NPO, Dynamo is born on the same principles that were foundational to Gaia-X , with the intent to transform the association and political intents into a pragmatic commercial offering that can satisfy the existing demand of European controlled, objectively trusted, and sovereign digital services.
Communication Activities
We are interested in the direct participation of EU, and in particular EC representatives to opena events that Dynamo will organize on the topics of European Cloud, Data Economy, and Common Data Spaces. We are interested in participating as speakers in any event of publication that the EU might undertake to promote the need for a European alternative to data platforms and cloud services in general.
