Mission & Goals
DuckDuckGo is a privacy technology company. Our mission is to show the world that protecting privacy is simple. For over a decade, we've created new technology and worked with policymakers to make online privacy simple and accessible for all. With one download of the DuckDuckGo app or browser extension, we offer private search and seamless privacy protection to our users, including protection from most third-party trackers. Our search engine is the third largest in the European Union and serves approximately three billion queries a month.

We focus on policy initiatives related to competition and privacy, including the implementation and enforcement of the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
