Mission & Goals
DUCC offers a platform for associations whose member companies use chemicals to formulate mixtures (as finished or intermediary products) for professional and industrial users, as well as for consumers. These eleven European-based associations represent represents several important “downstream” industry sectors, ranging from cosmetics and detergents to aerosols, paints, inks, toners, pressroom chemicals, adhesives and sealants, construction chemicals, fragrances, disinfectants, lubricants, and chemical distributors industries. DUCC aims to contribute to the successful implementation of the requirements of the REACH and CLP Regulations. DUCC’s objectives are to: - offer a platform for associations/federations of downstream users of chemicals, which formulate and/or place on the market chemical mixtures intended for end-users, where they can exchange information and expertise, work on issues of common interest and build up common positions towards other stakeholders; - advise and help

Communication Activities
DUCC is a Stakeholder of the Helsinki Chemical Forum DUCC was a Stakeholder of the HBM4EU initiative - Human Biomonitoring for Europe DUCC is a part of the PARC (Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals) Stakeholder Forum DUCC is part of the multi-stakeholder initiative initiated by ECHA: the Exchange Network on Exposure Scenarios (ENES). This forum is currently dormant but DUCC continues to be active on this topics of ENES. DUCC is in the reserve list of the Expert Group on Ecodesign for Sustainable Products and Energy Labelling ('the Ecodesign Forum' - EG 03969). DUCC partners with other stakeholders, such as the SME and craft sector, to produce guidance for a wider audience.
