Mission & Goals
The doValue Group’s main activities and objectives consist of providing, directly or indirectly, services related to the recovery of financial and non-financial receivables, carried out for profit.
EU Legislative Interests
We closely monitor the following EU regulations and directives, together with any amendments or further developments: - Directive (EU) 2021/2167 (NPL Directive); - Regulation (EU) 2019/630 (Prudential Backstop for NPEs); - Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (CRR) ; - Directive 2013/36/EU (CRD IV); - Regulation (EU) 2017/2402 (Securitisation Regulation); - Regulation (EU) 2021/2166 amending the Securitisation Regulation; - Directive (EU) 2023/2225 (Consumer Credit Directive – “CCD2”); - Directive 2014/17/EU (Mortgage Credit Directive – MCD); - Directive 93/13/EEC on unfair contract terms; - Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices; - Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. In addition to these, we also follow with interest several ongoing or discontinued EU legislative initiatives, including: - the proposal on Accelerated Extrajudicial Collateral Enforcement (AECE) contained in COM(2018) 135, which remained on hold for several years and was officially withdrawn by the Commission on 6 October 2025; - the proposal on the harmonisation of certain aspects of corporate insolvency law (COM(2022) 702), published by the Commission on 7 December 2022 and for which a provisional political agreement between the Parliament and the Council was announced on 20 November 2025 (pending formal adoption and national transposition); - initiatives under the Capital Markets Union relating to data, transparency and secondary markets, including policy actions such as the 2020 NPL Action Plan and related measures, some of which have already contributed to the adoption of Directive (EU) 2021/2167.
