Mission & Goals
I am an interest representative with the objective of influencing the formulation or implementation of policy or legislation, or the decision-making processes of Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies, in line with article 3 of the Inter-Institutional Agreement, particularly in the AFET and DROI Committees, on Human Rights issues and in particular, but not only, as it regards the rights of people from Nagorno-Karabakh. The activities refer to: (a) organising or participating in meetings, conferences or events, as well as engaging in any similar contacts with Union institutions; (b) contributing to or participating in consultations, hearings or other similar initiatives; (c) organising communication campaigns, platforms, networks and grassroots initiatives; (d) preparing or commissioning policy and position papers, amendments, opinion polls and surveys, open letters and other communication or information material, and commissioning and carrying out research.
EU Legislative Interests
I am an interest representative with the objective of influencing the formulation or implementation of policy or legislation, or the decision-making processes of the signatory institutions or other Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies, in line with article 3 of the Inter-Institutional Agreement, particularly in the field of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law in third countries. In particular, but not only, I plan to carry out advocacy activities as it regards the rights of displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh by liaising with MEPs, EEAS, Commission, and Council, including in regards to own initiative reports and EU policy positions in the matter. The object of the intended influencing activities directed at the EU institutions are EU policies or legislative proposals in the field of Human Rights in third countries, including advocacy activities, such as policy positions and liaison with decision-makers.
