Mission & Goals
Dokustelle Österreich ist eine Anlaufstelle für Betroffene und Zeug*innen von antimuslimischen Rassismus. Wir beraten Personen und dokumentieren die Fälle. Jedes Jahr wird der Antimuslimische Rassismus Report herausgebracht mit dem wir Analysen, Tendenzen und Entwicklungen rund um antimuslimischen Rassismus in Österreich aufzeigen. Eine wichtige Säule von Dokustelle Österreich ist die Bildungsarbeit, damit wird in der breiten Gesellschaft für Sensibilisierung und Bewusstseinsbildung gesorgt.
EU Legislative Interests
Sichtbarmachung von antimuslimischen Rassismus auf EU-Ebene und Maßnahmensetzung um antimuslimischen Rassismus effektiv anzugehen. Dokumentationstätigkeit EU-weit stärken und Hilfsangebote für Betroffene optimieren.
Communication Activities
Dokustelle Österreich has been invited for many years, through a wide range of platforms, to actively participate at the EU level. We have long maintained close contact with both former and current EU Coordinators on Combating Anti-Muslim Racism. For over two years now, we have been part of the network of Marion Lalisse, the Coordinator on Combating Hatred against Muslims. This network meets twice a year to develop and advance policies at the EU level. Recently, we were invited to participate in the Inaugural Meeting of the Permanent Anti-Racism Civil Society Forum. Participation requires registration in the EU Transparency Register. In addition, we are occasionally invited to events hosted by the European Parliament Anti-Racism and Diversity Intergroup (ARDI), through ENAR and the Open Society Foundation. Austrian Members of the European Parliament are currently not represented within ARDI. Dokustelle Österreich aims to close this gap.
