Mission & Goals

DM-Stahl is a private owned Steel Service Center located in Hagen. We process hot rolled and cold rolled Coils which we mainly buy in Europe, but also via trading companies from other countries.We mainly produce steel sheets, which we supply to e. g. the truck and trailer industry, agricultaral goods, container builders and service centers for laser and plasma cutting or welding. Our main goal is to explain the necessity to also protect the steel supply chain, and not only the steel mills. Our customers are facing unfair competition, because the derivates they produce from out steel plates are imported into the EU at much cheaper prices. Based on cheaper steel e. g. in asia, produced with lower ernegy costs and cheaper labour the import of semi finished and finished goods via containers is a huge threat for the steel supply chain. We need minimum the same safeguards and measures for this products as we need for the coils and this was also part of the steel action plan.
