Mission & Goals
Djurens Rätt | Project 1882* works globally to make a difference for the animals that are the most exploited and suffer the worst. The forgotten, hidden and often nameless animals. We want our work for animals to have as much impact as possible. That is the driving reason why we want to dismantle factory farming. Project 1882 is entirely dependent on donations. Project 1882 strives for a world where animals are respected as sentient beings with the right to their own lives. *Project 1882 is our international name.

Animal welfare - revision of EU-legislation End the Cage Age. A European citizen's initiative to eliminate cages in EU farming practices. Fur Free Europe. We are planning communication initiatives to advance animal welfare legislation in the EU. We are also planning communication initiatives for the citizens’ initiative Fur Free Europe.
