Mission & Goals
DSNA is the French Air Navigation Service Provider and is certified by EASA as an ANSP, just like all other EU ANSPs. Regarding the organizational chart, although it is a functional unit of the Ministry of Transport, it does not have any sovereign functions and is not a state authority. As for many ANSPs that are governmental agencies, DSNA has its own budget, which is independent of the ministry's general budget. This budget is agreed upon with the EU through the Performance Plan and is fully funded by airline charges. DSNA's sole interest is, therefore, to meet airline expectations and, consequently, the needs of EU passengers. To summarize, the functioning, activities, and interests of DSNA align completely with those of other ANSPs, some of which are already registered in this register On the other hand, asthe ANSP handling the largest share of traffic in Europe, it is of paramount importance that DSNA continues to participate in EU forums to co-construct the Single European Sky
EU Legislative Interests
We are registering so that DSNA representative can participate to the DG Move CEGHD whose kick-off is planned June 3rd. We may also need this registration as a member of the chairteam of the SES working group, ICB (Industry Consultation Body). Regarding SES2+, as an ANSP and non state authority, we are not directly involved; the French state is.
Communication Activities
We do not organize communication events directly linked to EU policies. However, we contribute to such events as a member of the ANSP federation CANSO, FABEC, A6 Alliance.
