Mission & Goals
Digitalt Ansvar/Digital Accountability was established to promote responsible digital development that protects our fundamental rights. This entails the right to privacy and a life free from violence, harassment, and surveillance. Digital development must contribute to better lives, greater safety, and the protection and realization of our rights, rather than coming at their expense. Digitalt Ansvar conducts research and prepares analyses on tech companies' efforts regarding safety and moderation. Digitalt Ansvar is a membership organization currently comprising 21 member organizations, including Børns Vilkår, Sex og Samfund, and Offerådgivningen.

Digital regulation affecting citizens and consumers, such as: The Digital Services Act The AI Act Fairnes Act etc.
Communication Activities
We have been in ongoing dialogue with the European Commission concerning the DSA, including its enforcement and implementation. We are also engaging with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and the Danish civil servants responsible for EU enforcement in Denmark. Additionally, we have submitted analyses and research to the European Commission focusing on the moderation practices and safety measures of social media platforms and search engines.
