Mission & Goals

The purpose of the association is to promote and inform about the interests of the industry: - Representation of interests vis-à-vis the political sphere: Advising political decision-makers and authorities as well as participation in legislative and administrative procedures at national, European and international level - Representation vis-à-vis regulatory and supervisory authorities: Representation and advocacy of industry companies vis-à-vis competent authorities or public bodies and institutions at national, European and international level; - Networking - Public relations - Events - Information, support and advice to members - Conception, content support as well as follow-up of uniform industry guidelines

EU Legislative Interests

All proposals targeting at realizing the EU capital market union, for example MiFID/R, AIFMD, ECSPR, PRIPs, and the Non-Bank Digital Lending space as part of the Non-Bank Financial Intermediation sector.

We are a signatory to the Transparent Civil Society Initiative and want to help strengthen trust in civil society through transparency. On the initiative of Transparency International Deutschland e.V., numerous stakeholders from civil society and academia have defined ten basic areas that every civil society organization should make accessible to the public. These include the articles of association, the names of key decision-makers, and information on the source of funds, use of funds and personnel structure.
