Mission & Goals
DCSA’s mission is to establish digital standards for the shipping industry, setting the technological foundation for interoperable IT solutions. DCSA's standards are open-source, free to use, vendor-neutral and technology-agnostic. By working towards the widespread adoption of these standards, its aim is to move the industry forward in terms of customer experience, efficiency, collaboration, innovation and respect for the environment.

DCSA is interested in and contributes to the EU Commission's policies and activieties in the field of freight transportation and digitalisation.
