Mission & Goals
Diem-GP LLC Gevgelija is a production and trading enterprise for production and processing of fruits and vegetables. It has been one of the leading companies in this field for thirty years now. The wide production range of Macedonian traditional products is widely exported, in more than 30 countries.
EU Legislative Interests
The General Food Law (Regulation (EC) No 178/2002), which establishes the basic principles of food safety, requiring traceability, risk management, and accountability throughout the food supply chain. The Hygiene of Foodstuffs Regulation (EC No 852/2004), which mandates strict hygiene practices at all stages of food production, from processing to distribution. Food Information to Consumers Regulation (EU No 1169/2011), which ensures that food products are clearly labeled with ingredients, allergens, nutritional facts, and origin information, in the appropriate language of the destination country. The Marketing Standards for Fresh Fruit and Vegetables (Regulation (EU) No 543/2011), which define quality, size, labeling, and classification standards that must be met to sell in EU markets. The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (94/62/EC) is relevant, The European Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy, which promotes sustainable food production across Europe.
