Mission & Goals
Die Medienanstalten koordinieren grundsätzliche und länderübergreifende Aufgaben wie Zulassung, Kontrolle und Entwicklung des privaten Rundfunks in Deutschland. Sie nehmen die Interessen der Mitgliedstaaten in den deutschen Ländern auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene wahr. Diese sind jeweils unabhängige öffentliche Institutionen auf der Ebene der deutschen Länder.
