Mission & Goals
Dexco S.A. is Brazil’s largest producer of industrialized wood panels, a market leading company in the production of bathroom fixtures and fittings in the Southern Hemisphere and one of Brazil’s leading companies in the ceramic tiles segment. The Company’s control is held by Itausa (Itaúsa S.A. and members of the Setubal and Villela families) and Seibel (members of the Seibel Family), that together hold, respectively, 40% and 20% the total capital of Dexco. Dexco works on two business fronts (Wood Panels and Finishing Materials for Construction) and our products are a benchmark in quality and design. Dexco also has a Joint Venture with Lenzing A.G. on a Dissolving Wood Paper plant located in Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Dexco has production plants and distribution centers in Brazil and Colombia. Also, Dexco holds a limited international presence through specific overseas structures specifically made for sales/distribution purposes, such as corporate structures in Belgium and Argentina.
EU Legislative Interests
Dexco is one of the largest wood panel manufacturers in Latin America. The primary raw material for this product is sourced from forests (wood). Considering regulations currently being processed in the European Parliament, it is of paramount importance for the Company to monitor and influence the implementation processes of Policies and the creation of Laws. It is important to note that Dexco exports its final products to the European Union. In summary, the activities involve tracking and monitoring policies related to the EU Green Deal.
Communication Activities
Dexco has been invited to be part of brazilian comission for meetings in the European Parlament and to meetings with DG Trade and DG Envi during october 2024.
