Mission & Goals
Development projects foundation 'CIRCLE' is a non-profit, non-partisan foundation dedicated to fostering sustainable local and societal development through the design, implementation, and support of innovative development projects. Its goals include strengthening economic, social, technological, environmental, as well as cultural capacities of communities; improving quality of life; promoting solidarity, inclusion, and citizen participation. The Foundation 'CIRCLE' actively supports green transition, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, but also social inclusion, while advancing democratic values, transparency, and rule of law. It also works on rural development, tourism, environmental protection, and innovation, and promotes European integration through partnerships, international cooperation, and knowledge exchange.
EU Legislative Interests
The Foundation 'CIRCLE' targets key EU policy frameworks aligned with sustainable but inclusive development also. Its work is particularly relevant to the European Green Deal, including climate action, biodiversity protection, circular economy, with energy efficiency; the Digital Europe Programme and EU Digital Strategy, focusing on digital transformation, innovation, and cybersecurity; and the EU Cohesion Policy, supporting regional development, social inclusion, and economic convergence. It also contributes to the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights through actions on equality, inclusion, and youth empowerment, and supports EU enlargement and integration policies by promoting democratic governance, rule of law, and citizen participation. Activities are further aligned with ERUSMUS+, HE, CREA, CERV, Danube and IPA, including rural development policies.
Communication Activities
The organization carries out a wide range of communication and outreach activities aimed at promoting EU policies with values among local communities and stakeholders. It regularly organizes conferences, roundtables, trainings, and public discussions focused on topics such as the green transition, digital transformation, social inclusion, and EU integration. Through targeted awareness campaigns, both online and in local communities, the organization promotes environmental protection, civic engagement, equality, and European values. It also develops and disseminates publications, including analyses, policy briefs, studies, informational materials aligned with key EU priorities such as climate action, innovation, and rural development. In addition, the organization delivers educational and capacity-building activities, including seminars, mentoring programmes, but also training initiatives for youth, entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, with local authorities. Its digital communication channels (websites, social media, and multimedia content) are actively used to share results, raise awareness, and engage wider audiences. Collaboration and knowledge exchange are further strengthened through networking events, partner meetings, project dissemination activities dominantly on national level.
