Mission & Goals
As the voice of the capital market, Deutsches Aktieninstitut has been representing the interests of listed companies and other important capital market players since 1953 and also manages the office of the Government Commission of the German Corporate Governance Code. Our over 200 member-companies represent around 90 percent of the market-capitalization of German listed companies. We represent our member-companies in dialogue with policy makers and advocate their positions in legislative proceedings on the national and European level. As a think-tank, we provide important impetus with our publications for the formation of public opinion. In studies, position papers and conferences, we identify the need for action and solutions for current capital market issues. As a bridge-builder between politics and business, we stand for open dialogue. We offer our members a network that is relevant for them. Our working groups are recognised platforms for the exchange of experience. www.dai.de
