Mission & Goals

Die Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH) ist eine politisch unabhängige Umwelt-, Natur- und Verbraucherschutzorganisation, die auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene tätig ist. Sie fördert nachhaltige Lebens- und Wirtschaftsformen, die ökologische Belastungsgrenzen respektieren. Sie setzt sich für den Schutz der Naturgüter und den Erhalt der biologischen Vielfalt ein. Klimaschutz, nachhaltige Mobilität, Ressourcenschonung und Kreislaufwirtschaft sowie die Durchsetzung von Verbraucherschutz sind weitere wichtige Themen. Die DUH sucht den Dialog und den breiten Schulterschluss mit Akteuren aus Zivilgesellschaft, der Umweltbewegung, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Politik, die ernsthaft an wirklichen Lösungen interessiert sind und vorangehen. Sie mobilisiert die Öffentlichkeit und spricht unbequeme Wahrheiten an. Dabei arbeitet sie stets transparent und faktenbasiert und trägt durch eigene Umfragen und Datenanalysen zur Faktenbasis bei.
