Mission & Goals
Delasol is a renewable energy company focused on the development, construction, and operation of solar power plants and battery energy storage systems (BESS). With a successfully built 10 MW photovoltaic plant and the first signed long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in Serbia in 2022, Delasol is a pioneer in market-based renewable energy deployment in the region. The company is currently constructing an additional 10 MW solar facility and is actively developing its first battery storage project with a planned capacity of 80 MWh. Delasol’s mission is to accelerate the energy transition by delivering innovative and bankable clean energy solutions aligned with EU sustainability goals.
EU Legislative Interests
Delasol actively follows and aligns its operations with the following EU legislative proposals and policy frameworks, as they are directly relevant to its work in renewable energy and energy efficiency: 1. Directive (EU) 2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2018 on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources (recast) 2. Directive (EU) 2023/1791 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 September 2023 on energy efficiency and amending Regulation (EU) 2023/955 (recast) 3. Communication Activities
Delasol does not participate in formal consultation processes with EU institutions but actively monitors and aligns its operations with the development and implementation of EU legislation relevant to renewable energy, energy system integration, and sustainable infrastructure. These include the Renewable Energy Directive, the Energy Efficiency Directive, and the EU Strategy for Energy System Integration. Communication activities have included participation in regional and national conferences, investment summits, and sector-specific forums addressing the practical implementation of EU climate and energy policy. Delasol regularly engages in expert roundtables and knowledge-sharing platforms organized in cooperation with public authorities, development agencies, and international institutions. These activities contribute to the exchange of views on the integration of renewable energy and battery storage within the evolving EU regulatory landscape. Furthermore, Delasol actively promotes the dissemination of EU-aligned project outcomes through site visits and educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness and building capacity. The company organizes guided tours and workshops for high school students, university students, policymakers, company managers, and representatives of public institutions. These activities are designed to showcase practical applications of clean energy technologies, highlight alignment with EU climate and energy strategies, and foster informed decision-making at all levels of society.

Delasol is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) (https://pks.rs). Through its affiliation with its sister company MT-KOMEX, Delasol remains informed and indirectly involved in the activities of several other business associations of which MT-KOMEX is a member. These include the Belgian-Serbian Business Association (BSBA), Confindustria Serbia, the Hellenic Business Association of Serbia, the Croatian Business Club (HPK), RES Serbia – the national renewable energy association, and the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM). While Delasol does not hold direct membership in these organizations, its relationship with MT-KOMEX enables it to follow relevant developments, participate in sector-specific events, and remain engaged in regional policy dialogue related to renewable energy, sustainability, and economic cooperation.

B2 Sun Spot – A 7 MW solar project also awarded a 15-year PPA quota through the same national auction scheme. KOBRA GLOBAL d.o.o. – The project company developing the 10 MW KOBRA Global solar power plant, awarded a guaranteed tariff in Serbia’s second auction round and currently under construction. Sun Energy and More d.o.o. – A newly formed holding company that will gradually consolidate ownership and strategic management across the group, ensuring aligned investment and operational direction in accordance with EU energy and climate goals. Through these affiliations, Delasol remains actively engaged in the development of renewable energy assets, energy storage systems, and forward-looking infrastructure that supports the EU’s Green Deal agenda and regional decarbonization pathways.
