Mission & Goals
DEJURE Foundation is a civic organisation founded by legal experts to promote the rule of law and justice reform in Ukraine.Since 2016, we have been working to build a fair, professional, and accountable judiciary that earns public trust.Our core mission is to advance justice reform by promoting integrity in the judiciary, the Bar and legal education, improving transparency and efficiency of judicial and Bar institutions, and supporting the development of an independent and ethical legal profession. We emphasise on the integrity and professionalism of judges and attorneys, as well as on reforming legal education.In recent years, we have closely monitored key courts, judicial governance bodies and selection processes, advocated for higher integrity in the justice sector, and supported alignment of Ukraine’s justice system with European standards.Our work continues to support Ukraine’s democratic transformation and European integration through a robust and credible analysis and advocacy.
EU Legislative Interests
Our organization does not engage in interest representation activities related to EU legislation or policies. We focus exclusively on analyzing the EU enlargement process concerning Ukraine, specifically in the context of domestic rule of law reforms being implemented by Ukraine.
