Mission & Goals
Dcentric Health Ltd is a digital health company dedicated to empowering patients and enabling more effective, inclusive health research. Our flagship product, the Aria Health platform, allows individuals to securely access, manage, and share their health data while engaging in clinical trials and market research. By giving patients ownership of their data and a voice in research, we help create communities that influence study design and participation, leading to more representative and diverse evidence. For researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare providers, Aria Health provides tools to recruit, engage, and retain participants, and to capture high-quality real-world data. Our mission is to make health research more transparent, equitable, and patient-driven, ultimately accelerating innovation and improving outcomes for society.
EU Legislative Interests
Dcentric Health Ltd focuses its interest representation activities on the following EU initiatives and legislative proposals: - Proposal for a Regulation on the European Health Data Space (COM/2022/197 final) - General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and its implementation in the context of health data use - Proposal for a Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (COM/2021/206 final – Artificial Intelligence Act), in particular regarding applications in health research and patient-reported outcomes - Clinical Trials Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 536/2014), especially in relation to patient recruitment, engagement, and reporting - Horizon Europe research and innovation framework programme (Regulation (EU) 2021/695), particularly health-related clusters supporting digitalisation, clinical research, and patient involvement
Communication Activities
Dcentric Health Ltd has engaged in limited communication activities with EU institutions to date. Our main activity is a scheduled meeting with the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Financial Services, Financial Stability and the Capital Markets Union as part of her Cyprus mission. Beyond this, our communication activities consist of participation in EU-funded research programmes and stakeholder consultations relevant to health data, patient engagement, and clinical research (e.g. Horizon Europe health cluster calls). We have not conducted campaigns or events specifically directed at EU institutions but intend to contribute to policy discussions where they concern the secure use of patient data for research and innovation.

Additional Information
The declared costs are low because Dcentric Health does not employ staff dedicated to EU interest representation and has no Brussels office. Activities are limited to founder/CEO participation in one-off meetings with EU institutions and occasional involvement in EU-funded projects. Costs consist mainly of a small proportion of management time and limited travel expenses. No events, campaigns, or publications have been organised specifically for EU interest representation.
